December, 2005: Caroling at St. Anne's Home
The Aunt Ann’s team and friends visited the St. Anne’s Home in San Francisco.
We decorated and filled Christmas stockings for some of the residents. We delivered the stockings, a brand new VCR-DVD player for their entertainment room, and sang carols to bring holiday cheer to their residents. By the time we were finished singing, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. Everybody had joined in with the singing, which was joyful and sweet.
Saint Anne’s Home has special meaning to Aunt Ann’s Home Care. Our founder, Ann Collins, was a resident there a few years ago. There were residents and staff that remembered her. We are so pleased that her memory lives on through the friends she made at St. Anne’s Home and through the service that we, at Aunt Ann’s Home Care, are able to provide to our community.
